What It's Like to Be a Child Model in Paris What It's Like to Be a Child Model in Paris

Each couture season in Paris, the chicest of the chic flock to arguably the most important show of the entire fashion calendar. No, it’s not the designer of that luxury bag you’ve been saving up to buy for the past decade. It’s the Bonpoint fashion show, where kids are supermodels and runway walks are adorable (not fierce).

Under the artistic direction of Christine Innamorato, Bonpoint’s Winter 2018 collection, which debuted in Paris last week, was filled with pieces that we wish came in our sizes: a black tuxedo jacket, a pink peacoat, and white lace dress, for starters.

We love seeing photos from the Bonpoint show for the great clothes, terrific set, and of course, ridiculously good-looking children. This season, Mimi Thorisson, founder of Manger, a blog devoted to French cooking (yum!) let us tag along to see exactly what goes into being a child model, as she got her two daughters, Gaïa and Louise, ready for the show.
